04Sharing with venues

This is the most important thing to understand about our service. To find you a venue, we share your enquiry details with venues in our network that match your brief. That usually means your name, contact details, event date, guest numbers and requirements.

Once a venue has your details, that venue becomes a data controller in its own right. It will handle your information under its own privacy policy, and it may contact you directly about availability and pricing. We are not responsible for how a venue uses your information after the introduction.

If you would rather we check with you before sharing your details with any venue, tell us when you enquire and we will do that.

05Other parties we work with

We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:

• Website and CRM hosting — the platform that hosts this page and stores enquiry records.
• Email and messaging providers — to send and receive correspondence.
• Analytics providers — to measure website traffic.
• Advertising platforms — where we run campaigns, to measure results.
• Professional advisers — accountants and legal advisers, where needed.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where information is transferred abroad, we rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

We do not sell your personal information.

06Cookies and tracking

08Keeping it secure

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls and reputable hosting providers. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take any incident seriously and will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it.

09Your rights
